Homestuck Aradia Hat by MasqueradeLover Homestuck Aradia Hat by MasqueradeLover
I felt like making another hat and I heard that the daughter of the founder of Steampunk Canada ([link] absolutely loves Homestuck. She created the Can Town Project ([link] which gathers Homestuck fans together to donate cans to their local food bank--after making an awesome Can Town first!
Her favourite troll is Aradia, so I made her a hat with Aradia's ram-like horns.

This hat is made out of black, orange, yellow, and blue fleece, red felt material, pipe cleaners, and cotton.

I used this tutorial for the hat: [link] but I created the pattern for the horns myself.

The horn pattern is HERE: [link]

I haven't gotten it wet, so I don't know for sure. But I assume it would dry just fine like most fleece.

I love this hat and also Aradia. Is there any chance you could put up the pattern for the horns? I'd like to make my own awesome Aradia hat :3

This is so awesome it looks wonderful! May I ask, how did you make the horns?

I drew a pattern for the horns (divided into 3 for the three different colours), traced the pattern sections onto the fleece and felt fabric that I used, and then sewed the pieces together. Inside the horns are cotton stuffing and pipe cleaners. I bent the horns into shape (with the wire) and then sewed them onto the hat.

I'm considering putting the pattern online since I don't have time to do commissions. Would this be something that would interest you? The pattern I used for the hat is already online (I provided the link in the description), but I have yet to upload the pattern for the horns.

That would be very helpful, actually. I would love to try to make this myself, maybe even make a hat with Vriska's horns. But Aradia's first, since it would make a great gift for my friend who loves her.

This is incredibly late, but I've had a lot of interest in this hat lately, and I finally got around to putting up a pattern here: [link]

Do you have an idea of which troll you would be interested in? I haven't made patterns for all of the horn types yet, which is my main concern. Once I have patterns that I know work and I can figure out how much time I can set aside for making them, then I can probably set up commission work. Some horns are easier to make than others, so I would like to make at least one prototype hat before I offer commissions.
